PXC teams up with Zoom to deliver collaboration platform to the Channel
Back in November of 2023, we announced that we had signed a strategic agreement with Zoom Video Communications, Inc. to power meetings, chat, phone, contact centre, webinars, and online events for customers across the UK.
The strategic relationship means we’ll be helping expand the Zoom portfolio to the UK Channel. As a result, PXC will offer a suite of Zoom products designed to enhance partners’ communication portfolios. Key products will include Zoom Phone – a feature-rich cloud phone solution for businesses, with 6 million global users, and Zoom Contact Center – an omnichannel solution that’s optimized for video and integrated into the Zoom experience. The portfolio includes AI capability as standard and expands to other value-added services, including whiteboards, webinars, events, and analytics.
These integrated services combine to create an intuitive, all-in-one platform that is fully enabled for video, voice, online workspaces, conferencing, and contact centre capabilities and works easily for businesses of all sizes. The entire platform can also be managed centrally through the Zoom Administrator Portal and Dashboard, allowing for easy installation and deployment. The addition of Zoom’s portfolio to PXC’s existing connectivity offerings is set to bring more commercially competitive propositions for the Channel.
All Zoom solutions will be consumable through 1Portal, our award-winning partner portal. Where features like real-time quotes (that adjust as solution designs change), and its suite of APIs (that help you work at scale in your preferred system) will deliver the swiftest and simplest ordering experience, taking your book-to-bill journeys to light-speed.
So, when you consider the potential of Zoom’s products to help businesses get more value from their comms, our vast range of connectivity services as well as 1Portal’s seamless ordering process, we’re set to help partners maximise their margins and speed-up the time it takes to get solutions into end-customer businesses, providing more commercially competitive propositions to the Channel.
Tom O’Hagan, our CEO, had this to say when our partnership was announced, and we couldn’t have said it better: “We are pleased to be working with Zoom. As a global brand, they have clearly demonstrated their commitment to shaping the future of communications and collaboration through their constant innovation and investments. In the last quarter alone, they released over 500 new features, including the recent launch of Zoom AI Companion. The addition of Zoom’s product suite reflects our intention to become the wholesale platform of choice, enabling the Channel to better serve its business customers.”
The voice and collaboration solutions from Zoom will be available to all partners shortly. But keep your eyes peeled, because we’ll be sending out updates very soon!
