Since joining our Partner Programme in September 2023 as one of our very first members, Gradwell Communications Limited, a pioneer in cloud communications for SMEs, have rapidly progressed through the Tiers, attaining the Power+ level in just a short space of time. Our Partner Programme has not only supported growth of their Connectivity pillar, but further enhanced PXC’s relationship with them.

The Journey

Gradwell decided to join our Partner Programme in September 2023, after realising the immense growth potential the programme offered, not just enabling them to get better commercials, but build tighter relationships. They wanted a strategic partner that they could work with for the long term who could support and facilitate them with the resources required to flourish, and they found this in PXC.

The Results

Being fundamentally a voice business, Gradwell sought to enhance their technical expertise on connectivity. Our Partner Programme gave them fast access to training resources and connected them with expert members of our team, to ensure they were equipped with the knowledge required. PXC also empowered Gradwell’s teams to effectively deliver solutions more quickly, resulting in:

  • A 35% increase in Ethernet win rate for Gradwell.

  • Operational efficiency streamlined, accelerating delivery and billing processes.

  • They are quickly moving onto the path towards billing over £1M a year, from an almost standing start and new partnership 2 years ago

  • They attained the Power+ level in our Partner Programme, reflecting the depth of our joint efforts and their sales and service expansion.

  • Their team significantly upskilled, thanks to our comprehensive training and webinars.

  • A trial launch of Acronis has begun, potentially unlocking new revenue avenues. Continuing their success, Gradwell Communications also won our ‘Partner Programme Partner of the Year’ award at FutureConnect 2024, an accolade to their growth and development as our Partner.

How did they do it?

Specialist pre-sales resources were made available to help them win new business, alongside training workshops and webinars for their operational teams. These initiatives were underpinned by PXC’s marketing and resources support. We went further to get behind our partner and supported 2 of their annual sales kick off events as well as sponsoring their employee of the year awards.

Gradwell also attended the Programme’s exclusive Partner Advisory Group, meeting with senior PXC leadership to discuss mutual growth opportunities, and recommendations for the programme. Carl Fletcher, Sales Director at Gradwell Communications Limited said, “We feel like this is a relationship as opposed to just us buying from a connectivity vendor. PXC have been very good at enabling our sales team to sell and building those long-term relationships.”

Additionally, Gradwell found that our award winning 1Portal was a big upside to our Partner Programme. The 1Portal provides Gradwell’s team with the ability to self-serve and get quotes easily, streamlining their processes and ability to serve their customers faster.
