Minimum seat requirements for your Contact Centre solution? Not with Zoom
Learn more about how Zoom Contact Centre can offer your customers the perfect solution to their needs, with now minimum seat requirements.

Leading CX and cloud contact centre provider, Avaya recently announced that from June 30, 2025 they will enforce a 200-seat minimum for its AXP cloud contact centre products. This means customers below this threshold must either pay for 200 seats or terminate their subscription. Additionally, Avaya will cease sales of SIP trunking, CPaaS, and voice recording services, and remove certain integration capabilities to focus on its largest customers.
With less than four months to adapt, this policy change creates uncertainty for partners with customers who don’t meet the minimum threshold.
The contact centre market is dynamic and growing, driven by digital transformation and opportunities. However, it also faces challenges from changing customer demands and competition. Avaya is not the first vendor to make significant licensing changes; VMware, Citrix, and Symantec have also done so in the recent past.
For partners, finding a contact centre solution that suits businesses of any size and scale is crucial. A flexible and scalable contact centre ensures that businesses can efficiently manage their customer interactions, regardless of their current size or growth trajectory.
Moreover, advanced technology that can adapt to future needs is essential to staying competitive in an ever-changing market. This includes leveraging AI, digital transformation tools, and seamless integration capabilities to enhance both customer experience and operational efficiency. By choosing a contact centre solution that offers both scalability and cutting-edge technology, businesses can future-proof their operations, ensuring they are well-equipped to meet the demands of tomorrow while delivering exceptional service today.
